Carmel O’Dwyer

Carmel O’Dwyer

board member, member of HR Subcommittee

I have one aim every day… to make a difference! Carmel works in the Biopharmaceuticals industry, managing the channels sales through distributors in the Asia Pacific Region for SP Scientific. Previously working as a Company Director, she has extensive exposure to financial obligations, quality assurance programmes, Project management, Coaching and HR skills in addition to her passion for the ugly world of commercialism. Originally from Australia, now living in Tipperary with her husband and two teenage children (and one puppy!) she is always striving to stay busy (not to get away from the husband, teenage children and puppy of course!) and is currently adding a Science Degree in Biopharmaceuticals to her journalism degree and a Masters in Business. She has very much enjoyed working with Youth Work Ireland Tipperary as it is so diverse to what occupies her working day and she feels that she has gained as much, if not more from working with Cora and Co over the last 12 months than YWIT has!
