Supporting you into Employment
Supporting you into Employment Description: Youth Work Ireland Tipperary has a number of employment support projects:
- ABILITY project (Supporting young people with disabilities aged 16 – 25)
- Youth Employment Initiative, Tipperary Town (supporting young people and providing opportunities to increase employment skills)
- Youth Information (providing information, supports and practical skills to get work ready)
All of these projects are available through on-line supports. They will provide a space to work on and update C.V’s and prepare and complete mock interviews with participants. There will be support for searching for jobs/filling in job applications and how to get started with employment. Useful websites and links will be provided for people such as links to MABs budgeting and money management. Online training’s will be shared and available for people and staff will be there to complete personality/job testing for participants that wish to do so (Hogan personality index testing). Project workers will provide support in the area of Volunteering both in Ireland and abroad (EVS).
