Tipperary Together Festival Volunteer Coordinator
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and community-minded Volunteer Coordinator to join our team for the upcoming Tipperary Together Festival (12–14 September 2025). The Volunteer Coordinator will recruit, organise, and support a team of volunteers to ensure the smooth running of festival events.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and engage volunteers from the local community and beyond
- Organise volunteer rotas and schedules for the festival weekend
- Provide volunteers with clear role descriptions
- Act as the main point of contact for volunteers before and during the festival
- Support volunteers on-site, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed, and valued
- Keep accurate records of volunteer contact details and availability
- Help with volunteer thank-you initiatives after the festival
Skills & Qualities
- Friendly, approachable, and a good communicator
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Able to manage time and juggle multiple tasks
- Experience in volunteer management, events, or community work is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable working in a busy festival environment and problem-solving on the spot
Role Details
- Dates: August–September 2025 (flexible hours in August, full availability required during festival dates 12–14 September)
- Location: Tipperary Town (some remote prep work possible)
- Fee/Payment: 1000 euros
